We have a short week this week so no spelling!
Our Fraction math test last week was very well done- good job everyone!! In math today we began to explore how fractions and decimals relate to percentages. This concept can be hard for some students. We will be using manipulative and drawings to help us understand the connection. Here are some math games that may help.

We continue to work on 3 big projects.
1- Novel study assignments should all be handed in expect the game board which will be due Feb 29.
2- Students are completing independent study projects based on aspects of Roman Life. Each student is to complete a Popplet and an oral presentation on their topic and a shoebox diorama. These will be Due Feb 22.
3- In Science students are continuing to work on a group science project. These will be due in March.
4- We have been working on French vocab based on winter and Carnival- there will be a vocab quiz on Feb 18
Don't forget we are headed to the Symphony Friday afternoon! We have decided as a class to dress up for this event!
