Happy Thursday,

A quick update on what we are working on for the next few weeks.

1) Math- we are finishing up algebra and starting a whole year review.

2)Science- We finished our Biome displays this week and started a chemistry unit. We are at the BLSC for the next 3 Friday’s to learn more about chemistry. We will finish the unit with a Bill Nye style video assignment.

3) Language Arts- We are working hard on our Novel Studies.
*Journal 1 will be due Tuesday 26
*Vocab Assignment will be due Friday April 29

We are working on incorporating some stomp elements into our pod sharing which will be June 9. Currently we are looking for brooms that can be left at school and can be tapped and hit and swished (sturdy outdoor brooms work best) if you have any we can borrow please send it to school with your name on it!

We welcomed Mr. Ngo into our class this week. He will take over part of my teaching assignment (Monday's as well as Wed/Fri afternoons). He will be working on math review as well as health and career and french.

A reminder on spring dress code. We have discussed how school is a work environment so we try to wear clothes that help us do our jobs. No strapless or spegetti strap tank tops (2 finger width is the general rule of thumb) without a sweater or short shorts please. If students wear flip flops they must also have a pair of shoes at school that can be worn or gym or other outdoor activities.
