Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a good weekend.
Don't forget Friday is a pro-d day.
Wednesday afternoon is our official opening ceremony in the gym.

A new reading selection will go home Tuesday- please quiz your child on challenging words to ensure they understand what they are reading.

We will be focusing on self editing using the 3-2-1 method this week. After writing students will be looking for 3 grammar, spelling or punctuation errors. 2 word choices that could be improved and 1 sentence rewrite.

Math
We are still working on patterns in math. This week we will be looking at patterns using T-tables.

Here is a link for a few pattern games:

Science
We will continue our research on extreme environments, focusing on pulling the main information out of a video or text. Students can access the assignment in Google classroom, however students will have enough time to do this in class.

French
Last week we reviewed numbers up to 50. Students have a numbers sheet that they can use to practice saying the numbers out loud in French, this can be done at home if they are looking for more practice.

This week we will review colours and months.

Enjoy your short week!
