In social studies and Language Arts we will be focusing on aspects of Canada and Canadian Culture. To prepare for this unit we reviewed the map of Canadian provinces and capitals. Many students were unable to correctly label a map of Canada. We will be practicing in class but here are some fun online games to practice at home!

This week we are starting to multiply decimals, starting with multiplying by 10, 100, and 1000. This is something that can easily be practiced at home.
Science
We will be looking at how our brains work, their structure, and how our brains work under stress. We will also be learning about how to handle stressful situations and developing some strategies to help slow our brains down to be better learners.
