Happy Monday,
I hope everyone had a good weekend! We have a busy week planned.
We will continue to discuss kindness and how our being kind and thoughtful impacts the people around us. We will continue to strive to be 'kinder than necessary' as inspired by our class read aloud "Wonder."]

We have started basic fact recall in math today and we started bookmarking online games in our math Symbaloo accounts. All students are expected to have very good fact recall and if they are still working on this skill, be practising at home nightly.

We have a back to school assembly tomorrow at 10:30. Pod 3 will be sharing some of their work from pod rotations last week. Parents are welcome to join us.

Our class and Ms. Clark's class will be going to McConnell Lake for a hike/bonding time. Please return the permission slips tomorrow.

We will also work on whole class math, reading and writing assessments this week. These assessments are strictly to imform my practice and hopefully do not cause any concern.
