Hello Parents and Students,
We have had a busy week so far!
Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday as it is a Pro-D Day!

We are continuing to work on our theme of kindness. In addition this week we have worked on a few about me projects. Feel free to pop by and see our photos in the hall- we used a green screen to show our favourite places and they are fun!

In our morning journals we continued to work on developing our ideas and ensuring we are writing with capitals and periods. We have focused on multiplication in math and most have mastered our multiplication tables!!!! Great work! Students should be coming home tonight with the timed test we did today to practice for next week when we will be writing it again with less time. They were also introduced to their workbooks today and we discussed how and why we mark each assignment as we go. In their workbooks students are expanding their understanding of multiplication by working with patterns.

We have also started a unit on early man in social studies.  Stay tuned for more details!
