Happy Monday!
We have an interesting week this week with a mid-week holiday. Here are a few highlights from the upcoming week!

Tuesday we will be headed to the high school to be part of the remembrance day ceremonies there. This is always a powerful experience. We will reflect on our thinking afterwards. Please ensure your child comes to school in ALL BLACK (including socks or shoes) with their hair braided (for girls).

Wednesday there will be no school.

Spelling unit 7 this week.

We will be focusing on conflict and the roots of conflict and linking this to war and peace Monday and Tuesday this week. We will create a new hall display based on the book "Imagine a World."

In math we will continue to work on long division and division with decimals. The kids told me today they were a bit confused but we will clear that up. Students who are confident with long division will work on dividing with decimals.
Here are some long division games to play online at home:

We will be working on condensing skills in Science this week and taking our power point presentations and narrowing them down to one page in a class book. This assignment will be due Friday.

Plate Techtonics quiz Thursday.
French numbers quiz Friday.

Have a great week!
